The seller’s account and all its products should be in accordance with all of MarketManic’s policies before listing them on the platform. It is the Seller’s responsibility to ensure that all the items they are selling comply with all laws. Random checking of seller accounts will be done from time to time to ensure compliance.
Below is a list of prohibited items for your guidance, which will be updated from time to time.
LIST OF PROHIBITED ITEMS
- Drugs, prescription-only medicines, pharmacy-only medicines, drug-like substances and associated paraphernalia
- Embargoed goods
- Firearms and any weapons
- Alcoholic beverages
- Tobacco or tobacco-related products
- Foods or plants, such as wild mushrooms, that contain prohibited substances, medicinal claims and hazardous chemicals that damage health
- Expired items or items with no expiration date label
- Unsealed items, packages or containers
- Human parts or remains
- Animals
- Wildlife products
- Potentially infringing items including but not limited to replicas, counterfeit and unauthorized copies of an item which may be in violation of copyrights or other intellectual property rights of third parties
- Stolen goods
- Currencies and stamps
- Shares, stock, other securities and stamps
- Government-related items such as uniforms, badges, or insignia
- Services that are sexual, illegal in nature, or in violation of the law
- Obscene or treasonous materials
- Publications, videos, or games that do not comply with applicable laws in the country of sale and/or delivery
- Telecommunication equipment that has not been registered with the National Telecommunications Commission of the Philippines, and electronic surveillance equipment or any of similar nature that violates the privacy of the people
- Any other items that are, or that contain components that are (i) illegal or restricted in the jurisdiction of the Buyer and/or the Seller or which otherwise encourage illegal or restricted activities, or (ii) determined by any governmental or regulatory authority to pose a potential health or safety risk.
VIOLATION OF THE PROHIBITED ITEMS POLICY
Violations of this policy may subject the Seller to any or all of the following:
- Listing deletion
- Account suspension and termination
- Legal actions
